Privately insured people/subsidy

The costs of psychotherapeutic treatment for your child are usually fully covered by your health insurance company. However, depending on the agreed tariff, the number of sessions that are reimbursed may vary. It is advisable to clarify in advance to what extent and to what extent costs will be covered. Billing takes place according to the Fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP) at the 2.3 - 3.5 times standard increase rate recognized by private health insurance companies.
Important: Due to the increased costs, I use the rate of 2.73 since 2024. So you have to pay 110.00 euros for 50 minutes, but it may be that your insurance only reimburses you the standard rate of 2.3 (92.50 euros).
Self-payers
No application process is necessary as a self-payer. You will be billed monthly for the psychotherapeutic sessions. The costs correspond to the fee schedule for psychotherapy (according to EBM), currently: 110.00 euros per individual session of 50 minutes.
Statutory insurance
Since my practice is a private practice , there is the option of billing for those with statutory health insurance as part of the reimbursement procedure .
You are probably aware that in the Berlin area there are usually long waiting times for a therapy place. Since you have a legal right to treatment according to Section 13 (3) SGB V, there is the option for those with statutory health insurance to be treated in a private practice. In justified cases, the health insurance company will cover the full or part of the costs of the treatment.

Cancellation fee
My practice is an appointment- based practice. In order to ensure reliable planning in my practice, I ask you to be on time on the agreed dates. I would ask you to inform me of any changes or cancellations of appointments as early as possible, but at least 24 hours before the appointment begins. If the cancellation deadline of 24 hours is not met, a cancellation fee of 80 Euros will be charged, if you don't come without any notice a cancellation fee of 110 Euros will be charged.
Should a session be canceled on my part within 24 hours in advance (therapists also get sick), I will offer you a free replacement hour as soon as possible.
I treat according to the latest scientific standards in psychodynamic psychotherapy. This is one of the four scientifically recognized therapy methods in Germany and is therefore recognized and billable by public and private health insurance companies.
